Do you want to be a good steward of the earth?  Do you want to help to spread God's Word?  Now you can do both at the same time. 

 


Saddleback Church's recycling program accepts alluminum cans and plastic bottles.  With money received from recycling, they print translated bibles for foreign countries, like Ukraine, Kurdistan, China, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Mexico, Argentina, Cambodia, Vietnam and islands in Thailand. 

 

10 cans or bottles = 1 Bible

 

If you live in Southern California, drop off your recycling at the church and send a Bible to someone who needs it!  Or do what I did.  Start a collection at your workplace and deliver the recycling to the church once a week.

 

If you don't live near the church, why not start you're own recycling ministry for a good cause!

Voice of the Orphan

 

The United Nations counts 143 million kids around the world as orphans, 143 million children waiting for love and support.

 

Recognizing that the severity of today’s orphan crisis is bigger than any one organization, FamilyLife, Focus on the Family and Shaohannah's Hope joined together to launch a long term, nationwide campaign called Voice of the Orphan.This campaign seeks to raise awareness of the orphan crisis and spur fellow Christians to action.
